Manet in Saeculem Saeculi

I probably should wait for the OH to make a post before I make this, but I wanted to do it today, so it's two in a row from me I'm afraid.
Basically,  a year ago today (yes I was enough of a sadcase to sit down and work this out) I discovered, nay, was introduced to a marvelous choral work of Monteverdi's, this of course, being the beautiful Beatus Vir. It was being introduced to this that sparked off my obsession with choral and classical music. In the version there is an MP3 link to at the bottom of this blog, the tenor is simply the most amazing I have ever heard, you need to wait until about two minuets in, when they get to the part "Manet in saeculem saeculi" it's honestly one of the most stunning things you will ever hear, it never grows old either, you never stop thinking how beautiful it is. In fact, all of the people on this recording have pretty gorgeous voices.
It brings back some pretty lovely memories of events and people, which is always nice, and is where I run out of words. So I will stop and let the new trinity baroque choir do the talking for me.
