
I'm not really one for string quartets/Quintets, but there are a good few pieces that most defiantly deserve some recognition
Mozarts String Quintet in G Minor is one, the fact that being in a minor key it manages to keep upbeat makes for very interesting listening
Borodins Quartet no.2 3rd movement is stunning, and why it's not better recognised is totally beyond me.
Rachmaninov's Romance... I don't really need to say anything
Hayden String Quartet in D minor, dramatic, but in a good way.
I shan't post anymore here, but perhaps go and listen to some more, these aren't the only ones worth listening to.
